KACST ASSELAH (FIRST CAR MADE IN SAUDI ARABIA)

King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) launched the sedan called the Aseelah, which will serve as a basis for a domestic auto manufacturing industry that Saudi Arabia is working to develop. The National Program for Automobile Technology, a division of KACST, designed and built the Aseela. KACST estimates that the division will be able to produce 2,000-5,000 cars per year at a total production cost of $16 million (SR60 million). The car will be marketed at a cost less than $13,330 (SR50,000).

Nice mix between Proton Persona and Satria Neo.
