Who makes your toothbrush & toothpaste?

Ever wonder where your toothbrush and toothpaste come from?

I purchased this last night at Target- It was a toothpaste/toothbrush multipack but each item was made at a separate location..  Here's where mine was made:

~ It says, "Toothbrush made in Switzerland"

~ It says "Toothpaste made in Mexico"

Think about that--   It is cheaper for Colgate to have its toothbrushes made in Switz. then exported across the Atlantic Ocean to America vs. having it made domestically.  And Switz. is not a 3rd world nation- their workers get decent wages.  And yet to Colgate/Palmolive this is the more cost-effective means to create and sell their product to Americans.

The Mexican-made toothpaste-- it was 7.8oz.  Used to be the large tube was 8.2oz.  Just like it used to be when you bought orange juice by the carton, it was 64oz.. now its 58oz.

Everyday people getting squeezed in so many overt and subtle ways, its near impossible to know who or what to fight..
