God, I hope Pawlenty doesn't win in '12

I know..  Probably our most partisan headline and posting..

Sorry, but it can't be helped.    From CNN Money:

"Hey rich folks, Tim Pawlenty wants to cut your taxes.  A lot.

Under the terms of his recently revealed economic plan, Americans in the top 20% of earners would see their taxes cut by an average of $23,500, an 8.6 percentage point drop in their tax rate, according to an analysis by the nonpartisan Tax Policy Center.

And the top 1% would get an annual average reduction of $261,000, a 14.8 percentage point drop.

Meanwhile, Americans in the lowest 20% of income would see their taxes drop by an average of only $23, a 0.2 percentage point change in their tax rate."

So.. to restate:

Top 20% taxpayers      --  $23,500 ave. tax cut (Twelve 55" HDTVs)
Top 1% taxpayers        --  $261,000 tax cut  (Six fully loaded BMW 330i's)
Bottom 20% taxpayers --   $23.00 (less than dinner for 2 at OliveGarden)

And the really terrible part in all this is registered Rep voters in the bottom 20% tax bracket will still vote for him in the primaries next year because they won't have a Clue how little Pawlenty (and others like him), care about the survival of average Americans.

So if you wonder who Pawlenty works for,  just remember this posting
